Coach David Walker brings over three decades of coaching excellence and leadership to the field. A veteran of West Virginia high school and collegiate football, he began his head coaching career at East Hardy High School in 1988, where he compiled a 56-41 record over nine seasons. In 1997, he took the helm at Martinsburg High School, launching one of the most successful programs in state history. Under his leadership, the Bulldogs amassed a remarkable 274-47 record between 1997–2019 and after returning in 2023.

From 2020 to 2023, Coach Walker stepped into the college ranks as the head coach at Concord University, guiding the Mountain Lions to a 14-8 record.

Coach Walker holds two Master’s degrees in Education and Administration from Shenandoah University and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Glenville State College. A graduate of Pineville High School, his passion for the game and commitment to developing student-athletes have made him a respected leader both on and off the field. Coach Walker is also the proud father of Derek and Troy Walker.
